When the CDJ Had Other Plans…

Not every moment behind EOA 025 went according to plan.

At around 37:21, one of the CDJs suddenly jammed.

For a few seconds, the carefully planned journey had other ideas — and if you could have seen Ulinda's face at that moment, you would've known exactly what was going through his mind. 😂

But that's also part of DJing.

You adapt. You stay with the music. And sometimes the moments that threaten to derail a mix become part of the story behind it.

The CDJ eventually pulled through, and the journey continued with “People of the Sun” mixing into “Sun Dance.”

What could have become the moment that stopped EOA 025 instead became one of the memories attached to making it.

And that's something you won't hear from simply looking at the artwork.
